Community Info

Nicknamed “The Queen City”, “Nickel City” and “The City of Good Neighbors”, Buffalo is the second largest city in New York state. It was one of the fastest growing cities in the 1800’s due to its proximity to Lake Erie, the Erie Canal and the railroad expansion. The grain, steel and automotive industry boomed in this area, thus making Buffalo one of largest and wealthiest cities in the United States, during that time.

In the late 1960’s, the grain and steel industries began to diminish. Residents left the city (and state) for opportunities elsewhere. Buffalo began to experience a resurgence in the early 2000’s, with businesses once again investing in the city. Since then, Buffalo continues to be a part of a great revitalization, with the rebuilding of its waterfront, investments in new structures like River Works, the Harborcenter, Canalside & SolarCity. New restaurants, breweries and retail stores are popping up everywhere. Millennials are moving back into the city, investing in forgotten neighborhoods and giving local business the chance to thrive and expand.

“The massage was so great!! Just what I needed. Erika, the lmt, used perfect pressure and worked to my tolerance level while checking in with me periodically to see how I was feeling. She was very knowledgable about what my body needed and was very skilled. I appreciate the thoughtfulness she took to make sure my massage was a very therapeutic experience yet relaxing as well. I will be making monthly appointments, I’m hooked! – Sue; source: Google.com
